This is the launchpad role on our go-to-market team — built for someone hungry, curious, and coachable who wants to learn enterprise selling at the frontier of AI security and grow into an AE or beyond.
What you'll do
- Research target accounts and identify the security, GRC, and AI leaders who own the agentic-trust problem.
- Run thoughtful, multi-channel outbound — email, phone, social — with messaging tailored to a buyer's real situation, not a spray-and-pray template.
- Qualify inbound interest and turn curiosity into well-prepared meetings for Account Executives.
- Become genuinely conversant in the problem space so a CISO's chief of staff takes you seriously in the first 30 seconds.
- Keep CRM hygiene tight and surface patterns in what's resonating back to the GTM team.
- Partner closely with AEs and Marketing to refine targeting, sequences, and the early funnel.
What you bring
- 1+ years in a BDR/SDR, sales, or customer-facing role — or a clear track record of hustle and results in something hard.
- Strong written and verbal communication; you can make a busy executive want to reply.
- Curiosity and grit — you do the research, you handle the no's, and you keep going.
- Coachability and a growth mindset; you want feedback and act on it fast.
- Genuine interest in AI, security, and the enterprise problems Prove7 solves.
Bonus points
- Experience selling or prospecting into security, infrastructure, or AI/ML buyers.
- Familiarity with modern sales tooling (CRM, sequencing, intent data).
- A point of view on why agentic governance is about to matter to everyone.
How we work — and what we offer
Prove7 is remote-first across the United States. We hire for ownership and judgment, not for a seat in a particular building — with occasional travel to be in the room with the enterprises we serve. Expect a small, senior team where your work ships and is felt quickly.
Compensation. The target range for this role is $75K–$85K base · $115K–$130K OTE, benchmarked to the 75th percentile of the US market for high-growth security and AI companies. Final offers reflect level, experience, and location, and include meaningful equity on top of cash.
