Why this role matters
Enterprises do not adopt agentic AI because a slide looks good. They adopt it when a credible technical partner sits with their architects and shows them, concretely, how an autonomous agent can be governed, scored, and proven — against the frameworks they answer for. You are that partner. As a Solutions Architect you turn Prove7's platform — the Governed Execution Layer, the Agent Trust Score, the SDK decorator and Governed Gateway — into a deployment a CISO and a Chief AI Officer will both sign off on.
This is not a demo-and-disappear role. You stay close to the customer through their secure agentic transformation, designing the on-ramp that fits the systems they already run and making sure the first agent they govern is the first of many.
What you'll do
- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives as the technical lead through the full cycle — discovery, architecture, proof-of-value, and production design.
- Design governed deployments that map an enterprise's existing workflows and agents into the Governed Execution Layer with the least possible rebuild.
- Run proofs-of-value that show real enforcement: identity binding, intent authorization, live Trust Score, inline policy, and a sealed, reconstructable record.
- Translate customer requirements into policy graphs, connector integrations (Okta, SailPoint, Saviynt, and the systems they live in), and framework mappings (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, OWASP Agentic).
- Be the trusted technical voice for security, GRC, and platform teams — and the feedback loop that carries the field's hardest requirements back to Engineering and Product.
- Build the reusable reference architectures, demo environments, and technical content that make every future deal faster.
What you bring
- 5+ years in solutions architecture, sales engineering, or a hands-on technical field role at an enterprise software, security, or infrastructure company.
- The ability to earn the trust of senior technical buyers — you can go deep with an architect and stay clear with a CISO in the same meeting.
- Working fluency with cloud, identity, APIs, and how modern applications and agents are actually built and deployed.
- Genuine comfort with AI/ML and agentic systems — or the demonstrated speed to get there fast.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; you can write the architecture doc and present it to the room.
Bonus points
- Hands-on experience with IAM/IGA, GRC, or security tooling, or with LLM application frameworks and agent orchestration.
- Familiarity with Java/Spring and React stacks, or with policy engines such as OPA/Rego.
- Prior experience as an early SA at a fast-growing startup, building the playbook rather than inheriting it.
How we work — and what we offer
Prove7 is remote-first across the United States. We hire for ownership and judgment, not for a seat in a particular building — with occasional travel to be in the room with the enterprises we serve. Expect a small, senior team where your work ships and is felt quickly.
Compensation. The target range for this role is $185K–$220K base · OTE to ~$260K, benchmarked to the 75th percentile of the US market for high-growth security and AI companies. Final offers reflect level, experience, and location, and include meaningful equity on top of cash.
Travel. This is a customer-facing role. Expect frequent and extensive travel — often more than 50% — to be in the room with the enterprises we serve.
- Meaningful early-stage equity. You are joining early. You should own a real piece of what you help build.
- Comprehensive health coverage. Medical, dental, and vision for you and your dependents.
- Flexible time off & paid parental leave. Time away that is actually restful, and real support when family comes first.
- Home-office & learning budget. The tools to do your best work, and room to keep getting sharper in a field that moves weekly.
- Direct line to the founders. Low ceremony, high trust, and decisions made close to the work.
